Scotiabank’s needed an agile solution that brought marketing materials to a wide-variety of locations and partners.

With more than 90,000 employees and 1,000 branches across Canada, Scotiabank needed a way to manage their marketing materials that not only controlled brand and message consistency, but ensured compliance with strict industry regulations at the branch level. The solution also needed to allow flexibility for regional customization, all while reducing the amount of internal marketing oversight needed.

Integrated Asset Management

Before a strategy could be developed, an in-depth, strategic assessment took place that allowed Direct Focus the ability to properly analyze the current system.

Once fully aware of all the brand’s needs, Direct Focus developed a tool to help manage pre-approved, templated sales and marketing materials, allowing for controlled, and industry-compliant, customization. It also housed approved brand assets, controlled access to materials based on user groups, and was fully integrated with production workflow to allow for on-demand ordering and delivery of print and promotional materials. In addition, a support team was put in place to assist and train branches in the usage of this new tool.
